Please join us for our upcoming residency at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth April 3-9, details below. All events at UMass are free and open to the public. The April 8 concert at Wamsutta Club is a benefit for the  New Bedford YWCA (ticket info below).

DB sextet personnel: David Bindman, saxophones/composer, Wes Brown, double bass, royal hartigan, drums, Frank London, trumpet, Reut Regev, trombone, Matan Rubinstein, piano; for the Thursday afternoon concert we will be joined by Umass professors Jing Wang, erhu and Harvey Goldman, animation (12:30)

2–4 pm Frederick Douglass Unity House   Open Performance with Mwalim 777’s Literature class; also with Community Poets/Spoken Word Artists, Dancers, and Visual Artists 

5-7 pm CVPA open Individual and Group Discussions, Mentoring, and Interactive Performances

Saturday April 8

1-4 pm  CVPA 107  Open rehearsal with dancers, visual and literary artists,

8 pm  Concert at the Wamsutta Club, 427 County Street, New Bedford, MA. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Proceeds will benefit the YWCA of Southeastern Mass.
